Music & Lyrics: Sing Me A Dream
The idea behind this song was simple: to write a dance and club-inspired track on the theme of the virtual versus the real world. There is something basic and fierce in the beat and drive of a dance track. And the dancefloor is where it truly comes into its own — the energy, the sweat, the rush of bodies moving together.
We spend so much of modern life behind screens — scrolling, watching, playing, connecting through avatars and profiles. But every now and then something pulls us back into the physical world: the pulse of music, the energy of a crowd, the electricity of being present with other people. For what the screen cannot give us is real touch and full human connection.
Musically, IRL was designed as a positive-energy track — something that belongs in motion: on a dancefloor, during a late-night run, or anywhere the rhythm can take over and pull you out of the digital stream and into the present moment.
