I’ve walked and ridden these roads so many times, and melodies have followed me home like summer wind.
This is where The Best Day began — inspired by the midnight sun, those northern nights filled with fleeting golden light. A world where no one may be around, yet the houses and gardens glow as if it were day, with the birds still singing.
Such nights bring freedom: worries fade, the sky opens, and you feel connected to everything. Perhaps it’s knowing summer won’t last that makes people live so fully, taking the chances they’re given.
The Best Day is about one of those nights — when two people met and formed a bond that lingered long after the season changed.
In darker months, we need to remember that light — the laughter, the smiles, the glances shared.
